What is the anime where in the end song there's a girl with a dragon wrapped around her?

This was one of my favorite animes as a child however I remember more
than that if it helps. It was set in the medieval ages and there was a
dwarf who died in the last episodes and I believe the girl at the end
was a redhead. I'm sorry if it's not much details but I would really
like to watch it again.
